In celebration of its 36th anniversary, Kang Collection is pleased to announce Minhwa and Modernism, an exhibition featuring the astonishing beauty and colors of Minhwa (Korean Folk Painting) as well as modern day interpretations by contemporary artists who’s works are informed by the mythology, history and mysticism of the uniquely Korean Minhwa style.

This exhibition features the work of eight renowned and young Korean-born contemporary artists who work in Europe and USA: Ik-Joong Kang, Ran Hwang, Jongsook Kim, Seongmin Ahn, Jongsook Kim, Woolim Lee, Yuna Kim, and Sunkoo Yuh.
